How to Apply for a Driving Licence

Getting a Driving Licence (DL) is an essential step if you want to drive legally on Indian roads. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has made the process simple through the Parivahan Sewa Portal and the Sarathi platform. However, before applying for a Driving Licence, it is mandatory to have a Learner's Licence (LL) first.

Documents Required for Driving Licence Application

Step 1: Apply for a Learner's Licence (LL)

A Learner's Licence is a temporary licence that allows you to practice driving under certain conditions. Here's how you can apply:

  1. Visit the parivahan.gov.in and select Driver/Learner License
